Ernie Stevens Jr. Re-elected Chairman of Indian Gaming Association

USA.- April 04, 2025 www.zonadeazar.com Ernie Stevens Jr has been re-elected for a 13th term as Chairman of the IGA. Under Stevens’ leadership, Tribal gaming revenues have risen from $11bn in 2000 to over $49.1bn in 2024.

The elections were held on the final day of the 2025 Indian Gaming Tradeshow and Convention in San Diego, which also marked the 40th anniversary of the IGA.

Stevens previously served as an elected councilman for the Oneida Nation and has held leadership roles in various Native American organisations. His leadership continues to focus on supporting Tribal governments and their interests in the gaming sector.

Ernie Stevens Jr, IGA Chairman, commented, “From day one of my Chairmanship, my commitment has been unwavering—my work is my campaign, always inspired and guided by our Tribal leadership.

“For 24 years, I have remained steadfast, and I will not unpack my bags for the next two years either. Together, we will vigorously advance our proactive agenda and stand ready to unite Indian Country to defend Tribal sovereignty at all costs.
