ALEA Assumes CIBELAE Vice Presidency

Argentina.– November 13, 2025 – www.zonadeazar.com The Argentine Association of State Lotteries, Pools, and Casinos (ALEA) has been elected to the First Vice Presidency of the Ibero-American Corporation of State Lotteries and Gambling (CIBELAE) during the 2025 Annual General Assembly held on November 11 in Asunción, Paraguay.

Represented by its President Ida López, ALEA takes on this new role to continue strengthening federal and regional cooperation in promoting a regulated, transparent, and socially responsible gaming industry.

“This new role honors us and invites us —myself, the ALEA team, and all Argentine lotteries— to continue enhancing a task that is necessarily federal, national, and regional: the fight against illegality and the promotion of a regulated, transparent, and socially responsible game,” said López.

This international recognition highlights the leadership and cooperation of Argentina’s state lotteries in building a modern, legal, and safe gaming industry founded on transparency and good practices.

Following the Assembly, the XIX Congress “Lottery Products & Sports Betting” is taking place in Asunción, featuring regulatory bodies, operators, and suppliers from across Ibero-America.

ALEA is actively participating in key panels addressing the future of lottery products, digitalization, and regional collaboration, with notable contributions from Santiago Schunk, Carlos Moyano, Teresita Benítez, Carolina Galtieri, and Édgar Pérez.

Through its active involvement, ALEA reinforces its regional leadership, fostering cooperation and promoting responsible, innovative, and sustainable gaming across Ibero-America.
