Brazilian Clubs Join Workshops Against Match-fixing

Commitment to sports integrity

Brazil.– August 19, 2025 – www.zonadeazar.com  Several football clubs in Brazil are taking part in workshops on sports integrity and match-fixing prevention. The initiative aims to ensure safer and more transparent sports betting platforms, reaching professional teams, youth divisions, and women’s football.

From grassroots to top-tier clubs

The workshops bring together clubs of all sizes — from smaller teams such as Mirassol, Bangu, and America/RJ to major football powers like Corinthians, Fluminense, and São Paulo FC.

Workshop program

Sessions include lectures on combating match-fixing, digital conduct, consequences, and the importance of fair play. Ambassadors also share personal experiences and values that shape professional sports.

Alex Fonseca, CEO of Superbet, emphasized: “Education and awareness are the most effective ways to protect athletes, clubs, fans, and betting platforms.”

Felippe Marchetti, Integrity Partnerships Manager at Sportradar, added: “Superbet is on the right track by investing in prevention, and it is a pleasure to lead these sessions with some of Brazil’s biggest clubs.”
