Esportes da Sorte Drives Responsible Gambling

Internal training, predictive tech and a new Code of Ethics support player protection and regulatory alignment

Brasil.-  August 1, 2025 – www.zonadeazar.com  Esportes Gaming Brasil, the group behind Esportes da Sorte and Onabet, is taking a proactive stance on Responsible Gambling by embedding it deeply into its organizational DNA. With an emphasis on staff well-being, ethical practices, and compliance, the company is meeting Brazil’s evolving gambling regulations head-on.

Immersive training and internal prevention

In June, over 600 employees took part in “Learn to Protect,” a three-day program led by IAA and EBAC, featuring real-life case simulations and global support protocols. The content is now mandatory via e-learning, with biannual refreshers.

Predictive technology for early risk detection

Using machine learning models, the group monitors key behavior indicators (betting value, frequency, session time, time of day). When risk patterns emerge, smart alerts trigger actions like deposit limits or instant self-exclusion. High-risk cases are managed by trained support teams practicing active listening.

New leadership and ethical framework

Ana Carolina Luna Maçães has joined as Head of Responsible Gambling. The company also launched a new Code of Ethics and Conduct grounded in five principles: integrity, respect, privacy, responsible gambling, and regulatory compliance — enforced across employees, partners and vendors.

Promoting integrity in sports

In recent months, the group has hosted Match-Fixing Prevention Forums for clubs like Náutico, Ceará and Corinthians, educating athletes and technical staff on integrity.

Hugo Baungartner, Institutional Relations Director, stated:
“Responsible gambling starts internally. When our team is empowered, we can better educate and protect players throughout the market.”
