FIFA Strengthens Integrity Efforts with Sportradar and Global Partners

Miami, May 15, 2025 – The FIFA Integrity Task Force held another strategic meeting in Miami, reaffirming its commitment to transparency and fairness in world football. With the participation of Sportradar, alongside international entities such as IBIA, ULIS, Interpol, the FBI, and the United Nations, the session focused on enhancing strategies for monitoring and preventing match manipulation.

Established to safeguard all competitions organized by football’s governing body, the Task Force focused discussions on finalizing protocols for upcoming 2025 events, including the FIFA Club World Cup™ and the FIFA World Cup 26™ Qualifiers.

Key topics discussed included:

  • Assessment of integrity scenarios in recent competitions.

  • Review of the effectiveness of communication strategies with strategic partners.

  • Strengthening collaboration with ad hoc members and international organizations.

The meeting also confirmed that, with the Task Force’s support, FIFA will monitor betting markets and match events in real time during all FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ matches.

FIFA’s Director of Judicial Bodies, Carlos Schneider, highlighted the importance of global cooperation:

“FIFA has joined forces with key organizations to protect tournaments from match manipulation. The Task Force is a joint effort with the most relevant integrity stakeholders, whose expertise is crucial to safeguarding the credibility of world football.”

Through this initiative, FIFA reinforces its leadership in defending sporting integrity, working hand in hand with top experts and global institutions to ensure a fair, transparent, and manipulation-free game.
