IBIA Partners with FIFA to Defend the Beautiful Game

USA.- May 21, 2025 www.zonadeazar.com The International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA) participated in the recent meeting of the FIFA Integrity Task Force, an initiative that unites key international stakeholders to monitor and protect FIFA competitions from match manipulation and integrity threats.

Held in Miami, the latest session provided an important platform to evaluate ongoing progress and enhance collaboration in the lead-up to the FIFA World Cup 2026™ in Canada, Mexico, and the United States. IBIA was represented by Jack Byrne and Sam Pears from its Operations team, who contributed insights on integrity monitoring and trends in the regulated betting market.

IBIA’s involvement in the task force underscores its ongoing commitment to global cooperation in combating match-fixing and corruption in sports. As a representative of the regulated betting industry, the association offers critical data and expertise to help detect suspicious activity and uphold the integrity of competitions.

IBIA expressed appreciation to FIFA for spearheading this cross-sector initiative and acknowledged the collective efforts of all task force members in promoting transparency, vigilance, and integrity in sport.
