Interview with Camila Beatriz da Silva, ReferOn’s Senior Sales Manager
Cyprus March 30, 2026 www.zonadeazar.com In the lead-up to one of the most anticipated events in the Latin American gaming industry, BiS SiGMA South America, we are honoured to feature an exclusive interview with Camila Beatriz da Silva, ReferOn’s Senior Sales Manager, in our Spoiler Alert section.
With a dynamic career that spans both the affiliate and operator sides of the iGaming sector, Camila brings a uniquely comprehensive perspective to the Latin American market. Having navigated the friction points of manual reward setups, postback management, and opaque in-house platforms firsthand, she now leads the charge in delivering transparent, data-driven solutions for the industry. As a native Brazilian, she returns to her home country to represent ReferOn at a pivotal turning point for the newly regulated market, showcasing how their innovative technology can serve as the baseline for scalable, efficient growth.
BiS SiGMA South America has become one of the key meeting points for the gaming industry in Latin America. What are your expectations for this year’s event in São Paulo?
Camila: We are heading to SiGMA South America to bridge the gap between complex data and intuitive management. We want to put ReferOn directly into the hands of operators and platforms to demonstrate exactly why our system is a cut above the rest. It’s one thing to talk about being user-friendly, but seeing our platform’s seamless functionality in person is what truly resonates with our partners. We see immense potential in the LATAM market, and we’re eager to show SiGMA attendees how ReferOn serves as the engine for successful scaling in Brazil and beyond.
Brazil’s iGaming market is entering a new era after regulation. How do you see the opportunities for affiliates and operators in this new environment?
Camila: Market consolidation is the big play for 2026, but let’s be real: the “compliance squeeze” is the massive weight on everyone’s shoulders. Managing a 12% GGR tax while being on the hook for affiliate content is a brutal reality. The operators surviving this second year shakeout are the ones ditching broad-market acquisition for precision retention. Winning today isn’t about having the largest budget. It’s about having the most accurate tracking and the highest ROI. That is why platforms like ReferOn are essential.
You recently joined ReferOn as Senior Sales Manager. What excites you the most about representing the company at BiS SiGMA South America?
Camila: Joining the team as Senior Sales Manager has been a blast, but honestly? Being Brazilian, nothing excites me more than representing ReferOn at my own country’s conference. There’s a specific kind of energy and pride that comes with returning home to showcase a world-class product to the people and the market I know so well. We’re at such a pivotal turning point for iGaming in LATAM right now, and I am incredibly excited to show ReferOn to the Latin American market. Our platform’s capabilities are exactly what the local industry needs to scale efficiently, and I can’t wait to get out there and show our partners across the continent how we can drive their success.
For those who may not know ReferOn yet, could you briefly explain what makes the platform unique in the affiliate management ecosystem?
Camila: ReferOn is a game-changer because of our innovative features, such as Company Grouping, which allows the management of all brands and accounts under one “master” login for total transparency. We’ve built a seamless rewarding plan that handles the complex parts, making it easy to set up and track commissions without the usual manual mess. Plus, our dynamic reporting gives instant and deep dives into data. It’s all about giving clear, real-time data so operators can stop worrying about the admin and focus on scaling their program. If you’ll be there, I highly encourage you to book a meeting with our team so we can show you this firsthand.
What solutions or features will ReferOn be showcasing during the event that affiliates and operators should pay attention to?
Camila: We’re showcasing our Evolution Cohort report, which gives partners a transparent, heatmap-driven view of long-term player retention and LTV. We’ve also introduced Async Task Tracking to eliminate downtime when processing large datasets, alongside a self-service Postback Management system for affiliates. Our goal is to provide ‘Explainable Performance’, turning complex backend data into clear, actionable growth strategies for ReferOn users.
You have experience both on the affiliate and operator sides of the industry. How does that perspective help you understand the needs of ReferOn’s partners?
Camila: As an operator, I remember how painful it was to set up a reward deal, and my worst nightmare was an affiliate asking me to set up a postback. As an affiliate, my biggest challenge was working with brands using in-house platforms that couldn’t be scraped by BI tools, where report transparency was always a mystery. ReferOn was designed specifically to fix these friction points and finally give both sides the transparency they deserve.
Networking is a key element of BiS SiGMA South America. What type of partnerships or conversations are you hoping to develop during the event?
Camila: We are looking to connect with operators and platform providers who are tired of the ‘manual nightmare’ and want a platform that automates complex rewards, reports, and postbacks from day one. I’m also excited to talk to affiliates who, like I once did, struggle with opaque in-house tools; I want to show them how our BI-friendly, transparent reporting finally puts them in control of their data. For anyone wanting to have these conversations in São Paulo, you can easily schedule some time with me through our event page.
Brazil is currently one of the most talked-about gaming markets in the world. What makes this market so special from your perspective?
Camila: Brazil is special because it’s shifted from a ‘wild west’ to one of the world’s top regulated markets, where digital-savvy players and Pix have made speed the standard. For us at ReferOn, this is the ideal landscape because these new rules require the exact level of data transparency and automation we’ve built into our platform. It’s no longer just about the massive population; it’s about a professionalised ecosystem where ReferOn provides the technical foundation for partners to scale with total confidence.
What message would you like to share with affiliates and operators attending the event who are looking for new technologies to grow their business?
Camila: My message is simple: stop settling for systems that cap growth with manual processes and a lack of transparency. In today’s market, especially in places like Brazil, technology isn’t a luxury; it’s the baseline to avoid losing money on calculation errors or hidden data. At ReferOn, we focus on delivering exactly what was missing from competitors: total autonomy to scale without the technical headaches that usually slow operations down.
