Most Bets in Brazil Are Below R$20

Bets ranging from R$100 to R$1,000 account for only 11% of total transactions, but represent over 42% of the money wagered.
High-value bets remain rare
Transactions above R$1,000 represent just 0.5% of operations, though they account for 19% of the total money spent.
Regional and age distribution
- São Paulo leads with 23.5% of transactions and 23% of the money wagered.
- Bahia and Sergipe show the highest per capita activity, with over 19,000 bets per 100,000 inhabitants.
- Bettors aged 25–49 make up 69% of transactions and 70% of the amount wagered.
- The 65–79 age group represents only 0.7% of total bets.
