Operation Desfortuna Targets Illegal Online Betting Promotion in Brazil

Authorities executed 31 search warrants across Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, and São Paulo. The investigation covers fraud, deceptive advertising, scams, and money laundering.
Financial Intelligence Reports from COAF revealed suspicious transactions exceeding BRL 4.5 billion.
