Peru: Apuesta Total Hosts Its First Hackathon to Boost Innovation

Over 24 hours of digital creativity

Peru.- August 19, 2025 – www.zonadeazar.com  Apuesta Total held its first HackAThon 2025, a digital innovation marathon in Lima that brought together multidisciplinary talent for more than 24 hours of continuous work. The event took place at Zona Late, a dedicated space for learning and entertainment.

Eight teams, one challenge

Eight teams made up of employees from areas such as technology, innovation, and fraud control developed digital solutions to drive the company’s transformation.

“At Apuesta Total, we are not just entertainment providers; we are a technology company creating unique experiences. The HackAThon was another step toward our digital and cultural transformation,” said Gonzalo Pérez, CEO of Apuesta Total.

Judging and recognition

The jury included Gonzalo Pérez (CEO of Apuesta Total), Willy Vega (CIO of Banco Santander), and an AI developed using OpenAI technology.

The Squero Force Fusión team won S/ 5,000 and was recognized as the company’s innovation leader.
