During SBC Summit Rio 2026, held at Riocentro from March 3 to 5, Zona de Azar spoke exclusively with Alexandre Vasconcellos, Regional Director of Flashcore in Brazil, who shared the company’s key objectives at the event and highlighted the latest innovations the company is bringing to the sports data ecosystem.
According to the executive, one of Flashcore’s main goals at the event was to strengthen relationships with existing partners while also connecting with new operators and companies within the iGaming ecosystem.
He also emphasized that the summit represents a valuable opportunity to understand the latest trends in Brazil’s gaming industry, a market he described as a true “El Dorado” for sports betting and gaming companies.

Among the company’s main innovations this year is Follow Player, a tool that allows users to follow the performance and activity of their favorite athletes in real time.
Through this feature, users receive notifications about key events such as goals, assists, yellow and red cards, transfers, and other relevant updates, offering a more personalized sports engagement experience.
Another major development is the expansion of Flashcore’s global sports news network, which combines artificial intelligence with human editors across 17 countries to translate and distribute sports content across multiple languages and global audiences.
During the interview, Vasconcellos also highlighted the importance of sports integrity, emphasizing that the growth of the betting industry must be accompanied by responsible practices that protect both the players and the sport itself.
He concluded by noting that sports betting can be an important form of entertainment, as long as it operates under responsible principles that safeguard the integrity and cultural value of sport.
