SPA/MF Updates Betting Brand Registrations in Brazil

Brazil – August 13, 2025 – www.zonadeazar.com – Brazil’s Ministry of Finance, through the Secretariat of Prizes and Betting (SPA), has issued two new ordinances on August 12 in the Diário Oficial da União to update brand registrations in the betting sector.

Brands Included in the Update

The changes affect the following brands:

  • Arenaplus
  • Gameplus
  • Bingoplus
  • EstrelaBet
  • Vupi

The decisions, signed by SPA Secretary Regis Anderson Dudena, are based on information from the Betting and Prizes Management System (SIGAP) and in accordance with Law No. 13.756/2018 and Law No. 14.790/2023, which regulate fixed-odds betting in the country.

Ordinance Details

  • SPA/MF Ordinance No. 1.761 (August 11, 2025)
    Amends Ordinance No. 2.099, dated December 30, 2024, establishing the brands: Arenaplus, Gameplus, and Bingoplus.

  • SPA/MF Ordinance No. 1.762 (August 11, 2025)
    Amends Ordinance No. 320, dated February 17, 2025, establishing the brands: EstrelaBet and Vupi.
