SPA Revokes Trisigma’s Authorization As Certification Body In Brazil

Brazil.– November 10, 2025 – www.zonadeazar.com  The Secretariat for Prizes and Bets (SPA) under Brazil’s Ministry of Finance has revoked the authorization of the Dutch company Trisigma B.V. to act as an independent certification body in Brazil.

Overview

Through Ordinance SPA/MF No. 2.684, signed by Régis Dudena, the revocation came into force on September 30, 2025, nullifying Ordinance No. 1.775/2024 that had previously approved Trisigma’s role.

Certificates already issued by Trisigma remain valid and continue to receive technical support from Gaming Laboratories International LLC (GLI).

Implications for operators

As of September 30, Trisigma may no longer be engaged for new licensing processes in Brazil. Operators must seek alternative certification bodies duly recognized by SPA/MF.
Existing certifications remain valid, but any new technical audits must adhere to the updated regulatory framework.
