Zona de Azar Australia – Aristocrat Considers Improved Offer For Playtech

Australia.- January 12, 2022 www.zonadeazar.com Rumours are coming out of gaming firm Aristocrat that they are considering improving their offer for online gaming software company Playtech with the interest mounts over an offer from Eddie Jordan’s JKO Play.

Insiders say that Aristocrat are now reviewing their current offer of £2.7 billion in preparation of an improved offer from JKO Play of possibly £3 billion. Officially the Australian based machine manufacturer is sticking with its initial offer as it is not certain that any new offer will come from the Jordan consortium that only yesterday announced the support of Vikrant Bhargava and his private investment business Veddis Ventures.

Initially the offer from Aristocrat of £2.7 billion was accepted by senior management at Playtech and was supposed to go to a shareholder vote, that vote has now been postponed to 2nd February, allowing JKO Play to conduct due diligence on a potential offer.

The decision by Aristocrat is clear they must increase their offer or withdraw if JKO Play do make an improved offer for Playtech.

Some industry observers believe it is a dangerous game Playtech are playing as Aristocrat could step away and leave the software firm with the hope of an offer from JKO materialising.
