Brasil – March 14, 2025 www.zonadeazar.com The Brazilian Club Committee (CBC) is hosting the first edition of the ‘CBC & Clubes Expo’, an event designed to bring together the entire sports ecosystem.
Taking place at Royal Palm Hall in Campinas (SP), the event has opened its doors to representatives and entities from the gaming and betting industry.
The event’s schedule includes sports clinics and training courses conducted in partnership with Unicamp and UFPR (Federal University of Paraná).
José Francisco Manssur, a partner at CSMV Advogados who helped draft Brazil’s betting regulations during his time at the Ministry of Finance, participated in the panel “Online Betting and Gaming and Their Effects on Brazilian Sports” last Wednesday (12th), alongside Giovanni Rocco Neto (National Secretary of Sports Betting and Economic Development in Sports) and Magnho José (President of Instituto Jogo Legal).
The lawyer returns on the 14th for the special lecture “The Constant Pursuit of Excellence in Club Management”, this time alongside Gilson Calais.
The presentation takes place at 3:00 PM in the Campinas Room, focusing on strategic management planning and the paradigm shift in sports with the arrival of SAF (Football Corporations).
BiS SiGMA Americas and ABRAJOGO Take Center Stage at CBC & Clubes Expo
The sports betting and online gaming market will be the focus of another key discussion on Friday (14th) from 3:15 PM to 4:00 PM.
Titled ‘Integrity, Bets, and Sports Development’, the seminar will be held at Palco Talks, featuring:

Additionally, the seminar will address ABRAJOGO’s role in protecting the industry, promoting ethical practices, and preventing match-fixing, along with the tools used to monitor competition integrity.
Furthermore, participants will discuss opportunities for clubs and federations in developing national sports, emphasizing iGaming as a catalyst for new tournaments and sports categories beyond football.
