Brazil.- July 25, 2024 www.zonadeazar.com The SBT Group will enter the sports betting market, as we reported last week. With the domain TeleSena.bet, the group is now awaiting authorization from the Ministry of Finance to start operating in the Brazilian market.

In addition, two internet domains have emerged under the name of Silvio Santos’ holding company: Baú Bet and Tele Sena Bet. In fact, the first name is already registered by the company in which the owner of SBT has a stake, while the second domain aims to combine advertising spaces and connect Tele Sena with betting houses.

According to the Coluna Financeira portal, the legal department of SBT is analyzing the progress of sports betting regulation in Brazil, which has already reached phase 4. Reports indicate that the head of the network is eager to use the entire structure of SBT and related services such as Baú da Felicidade and Tele Sena itself to officially enter the betting market.

In addition to SBT, the Globo group also registered its fantasy game Cartola FC, and ESPN is also on the list of companies that have shown previous interest in operating in the Brazilian market. Companies like Kwai and even Caixa Econômica Federal are also included in the list.
