Brazil – August 28, 2024 www.zonadeazar.com Between September 13 and 22, Rio de Janeiro will host the world’s largest music festival, Rock in Rio. The festival, celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2024, also marks the 10th edition of the event held in the iconic City of Rock, in Rio de Janeiro.
This edition will feature big names in pop and rock music such as Ed Sheeran, Joss Stone, Ne-Yo, Evanescence, Imagine Dragons, among others. The festival will also dedicate a day to various Brazilian musical styles, including rock, sertanejo, MPB, trap, pop, samba, rap, bossa nova, soul, funk, jazz, classical, and electronic music.
Superbet Brazil, a betting company famous for sponsoring São Paulo and Fluminense, makes history as the first company from the betting industry to participate in the festival. The betting company will debut at Rock in Rio with the Super Lounge, a three-story stage in the Sunset Stage area.
The betting company’s space expects to host 8,000 people during the festival and will feature various attractions for participants such as the “Guitar Jump” and the “Flying Jump.” Additionally, attendees will have the chance to enjoy challenges inspired by the famous game “Guitar Hero” and participate in the Super Star, a karaoke set up during the show intervals.
The betting company will also run promotions for fast-track tickets to a ride that elevates 40 passengers in circular movements up to 20 meters high. There will also be unique experiences with lights, sirens, and smoke to make the moment even more spectacular for participants.

We want to chart new horizons, get closer to festival-goers, and give more exposure to the brand for the Brazilian audience, always with the premise of offering something that will be remembered by the public,” said Patrícia Prates, Marketing Director of Superbet Brazil.
The betting company will also carry out activations with additional digital media, as well as ads in airports and on the VLT, around the City of Rio. João Paulo Affonseca, CEO of Musicalize, also commented on the historic partnership between the festival and the betting company.
