Zona de Azar Canada – Ontario Lottery Joins Forces with NBA’s Raptors to Support Local Communities

Canada.- January 10th 2024 www.zonadeazar.com The Ontario sports betting scene is ablaze with excitement following a significant trade involving the Toronto Raptors just over a week ago, swapping players with the New York Knicks.

Heading to Manhattan are OG Anunoby, Precious Achiuwa, and Malachi Flynn, while Canadian RJ Barrett, Immanuel Quickley, and a draft pick make their way back to Toronto. The Raptors have seen a 3-1 record since the trade.

The timing of the announcement of a new partnership between the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) and the Raptors is ideal. The OLG and Raptors are collaborating to back four community organizations focused on basketball.

From January to March, fans can show their support for their chosen organization by engaging in the complimentary Home Court Advantage game through the Toronto Raptors app.

For every play, OLG and the Raptors will contribute to the following Ontario organizations: Jan. 8-23, Vipers Wheelchair Basketball in Burlington; Jan. 24-Feb. 9, Indigenous Sport & Wellness Ontario, Sudbury; Feb. 22-March 10, Abilities Centre, Whitby; March 11-27, Mega City Basketball, Mississauga.

One hundred percent of the proceeds at OLG, a government agency, circle back to local communities, including venues like these home courts.

“Recognizing the unifying power of sports, we take pride in amplifying the efforts of community builders through the Home Court Advantage program,” said Jordan Vader, Senior Vice President, Global Partnerships, MLSE.

“In partnership with OLG, we persist in crafting distinctive campaigns that entertain our fans while giving back to those advancing the game we adore, especially at the grassroots level.” The goal is to assist these organizations in sharing their narratives and increasing awareness of their activities in their respective communities.
