Zona de Azar Chile – Stake Sponsors Chilean Football Team

Chile.- February 21, 2025 www.zonadeazar.com Stake continues to expand its presence in Latin American sports after signing a sponsorship agreement with the Chilean football club Deportivo Ñublense. The online sports betting platform has become the team’s main sponsor, announcing the partnership through a fun Valentine’s Day video.

This sponsorship will extend throughout the 2025 season, during which Ñublense will participate in the Copa Libertadores for the second time in its history.

Stake, widely popular in the region due to its association with Sergio Agüero and presence in Formula 1, celebrated the strengthening of ties with “a fantastic club, with a rich history and a passionate fan base,” according to Nikkita Thomas, Head of Sponsorships at Stake.

“Last season, we witnessed an incredible story of perseverance, with the team reaching the final of the Copa Chile, and their participation in the Copa Libertadores is something we are very excited about,” said Thomas.

Additionally, Thomas expressed Stake’s “pride” in the agreement, which allows the company to expand its presence in Latin America, where it has recently secured licenses in Brazil and Peru.

After officially announcing its exit from the UK market earlier this week, Stake confirmed it will now focus on operations in Italy and Brazil, as well as further expansion in Latin America.

The betting and casino platform, owned by Easygo, issued a statement emphasizing this strategic shift after the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) confirmed that TGP Europe would shut down Stake’s UK website.

A Stake spokesperson stated:
“Stake has made a strategic decision, in mutual agreement with TGP Europe, to exit white-label agreements and focus on obtaining local licenses through our own platform and operations, expanding our growth in key regulated markets such as our recent expansions into Italy and Brazil.”
