Zona de Azar China – Partnership between the Chinese Basketball League and Sportradar is Extended

China.- April 15, 2024 www.zonadeazar.com The Chinese Men’s Professional Basketball League (CBA League) and Sportradar announced this Friday (12) a strategic extension of their partnership. The aim is to increase the league’s global presence and ensure integrity in Chinese basketball.

CBA will leverage Sportradar’s extensive network to distribute more than 550 games, including highlights and short videos, throughout the regular season and postseason.

Sportradar has customized solutions for the Chinese League

Through international broadcast and audiovisual distribution channels, including leading broadcasters, streaming services and over-the-top (OTT) platforms, the collaboration seeks to improve fan engagement and expand the league’s audience in international markets.

The CBA League will also continue to receive Sportradar’s market-leading integrity services, with its suite of technology solutions and products deployed to protect the CBA League competitions against a range of integrity threats.

Shirley Lv, who led the negotiation of broadcast rights in the CBA League, said: “We are delighted to extend our partnership with Sportradar. This is because we believe it will provide enriched possibilities and greater awareness for the CBA League, given the company’s vast experience and recent track record.

30 partnership leagues spread across the world

The 2023/24 season is the 29th edition of the Chinese Basketball League, with 20 teams competing for the title.

  • French Basketball League (LNB)
  • Turkish Basketball Federation (TBF)
