Zona de Azar Spain – 12th Edition of Expo Congress of Torremolinos 2024

The Organizing Committee, representing the Andalusian Associations ANMARE, ACODISA, and ANDESA, will celebrate the 12th edition of the EXPO CONGRESS OF TORREMOLINOS 2024, at the Torremolinos Exhibition and Congress Palace, with two full days from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday the 18th and from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday the 19th.

Once again, the goal is to bring together manufacturers, distributors, operators, and other sector workers from all over Spain, as well as representatives of the various competent regional administrations, starting with the Junta de Andalucía. This proposal combines the commercial aspect with reflection and documentation, with the participation of key figures offering insights into the current sector and economic situation.

The format will follow the lines of previous editions, enhancing the exhibition of machines to accommodate all the products of the main manufacturers, either directly and/or through commercial companies in Spain.

The Torremolinos Expo Congress will once again host an extensive program of sessions with broad representation from regional regulators, who will have the opportunity to convey the policies on the matter promoted by the administrations of Andalucía, the Basque Country, Castilla y León, Catalonia, Valencia, Madrid, the Canary Islands, and Extremadura, with the following program:

Wednesday, September 18

10:00 – Exhibition Opening.
11:00 – Congress. Welcome address by the Presidents of the Andalusian Associations, ANMARE, ACODISA, ANDESA, and the Secretary General of the Treasury of the Junta de Andalucía, Mr. Manuel Vázquez Martín, who will proceed with the inauguration.
11:15 – “Presentation of ICE BARCELONA 25”. A video presenting the next ICE Barcelona 25 event will be shown, with Ewa Bakun, Director of Clarion Gaming in Spain, speaking.
11:20 – “Government’s Perspective on the Current State of the Gaming Industry”. A roundtable will discuss the current situation, legislative measures, and actions for the present and future of the sector.

The session will be moderated by Mr. Francisco Pérez Fresquet, Economist, Ph.D. in Business Administration and Knowledge Society, and President of the Talent Management and Development Commission of CEA. Speakers: Mr. Jesús Ignacio Pérez Aguilera, General Director of Taxation, Financing, Financial Relations with Local Corporations and Gaming of the Junta de Andalucía; Mr. Aitor Mikel Uriarte Unzalu, General Director of Gaming and Shows of the Basque Government; Ms. Irene Muñoz Vicente, General Director of Institutional Relations of the Junta de Castilla y León; Ms. Natalia Caba i Serra, General Director of Taxation and Gaming of the Generalitat of Catalonia; Ms. Inmaculada Domínguez Calomarde, General Director of Taxation and Gaming of the Generalitat Valenciana; Mr. Ramón Cubián Martínez, General Director of Land and Gaming of the Community of Madrid; Mr. Antonio Llorens de la Cruz, Deputy Minister of Administrations and Transparency of the Canary Islands Government; Ms. Fátima Pablos Mateos, General Director of Taxation of the Extremadura Region.

13:15 – Inaugural event and visit of authorities to the exhibition.
13:30 – Cocktail – Lunch for attendees, served at the stands.
19:00 – Exhibition Closing.

Thursday, September 19

10:00 – Exhibition Opening.
10:30 – “Politics, Economy, and Media in Times of Tension and Polarization”.

Mr. Vicente Vallés Choclán, Bachelor of Information Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid; news presenter for Antena 3 TV, a specialist in national politics, and writer, will speak. He will be introduced by Mr. Francisco Pérez Fresquet, Economist, Ph.D. in Business Administration and Knowledge Society, and President of the Talent Management and Development Commission of the Confederation of Businessmen of Andalusia, CEA.

12:00 – Congress Closing. Closing ceremony presided over by Mr. Jesús Ignacio Pérez Aguilera, General Director of Taxation, Financing, Financial Relations with Local Corporations and Gaming of the Junta de Andalucía.
13:00 – Cocktail – Lunch for attendees, served at the stands.
17:00 – Exhibition Closing.
