BetMGM, a leading sports betting operator, announced the opening of a private live dealer studio in Michigan. The studio was built in partnership with Evolution, MGM’s live casino partner and a leading supplier of live casino content.
BetMGM Casino immediately became Michigan’s iGaming leader upon its January 2021 launch and holds a 39% market share in the state. The online form of this dealership went live in July 2021, giving Michiganders access to live tables for the first time.
BetMGM quickly established itself as one of the market leaders within the online industry and an ensuing retail space seemed inevitable.

The unveiling of the new studio gives players the chance to interact with a live dealer and other players at blackjack, roulette and baccarat tables, with a wide range of price points. BetMGM has effectively merged online with retail in the past two years in Michigan, introducing GameSense, a responsible gaming program.
Through GameSense’s integration within BetMGM’s mobile and desktop platforms, customers can access responsible gaming tools. Responsible gaming is important to MGM with the British Columbia Lottery Corporation developing and licensing its GameSense technology.
