Zona de Azar USA – Nevada Gaming Extends $1bn Monthly Revenue Streak to 16th Month

USA.- August 2nd 2022 www.zonadeazar.com Nevada gaming has continued its streak of at least $1bn in revenue into its 16th month in June, reporting $1.28bn in total gaming revenue.

According to data from the Nevada Gaming Control Board, June’s total revenue number is a 1.77% decrease from May’s $1.3bn, but an 8.06% increase year-over-year compared to June 2021’s $1.19bn.

Per vertical, slot machines led the way in the Silver State with $838.8m, a 1.88% drop on the previous year (2021: $868.1m) with a win percentage of 7.52%. Multi Denomination led all slots with $430.8m, followed by One Cent with $301.9m.

Table, Counter, and Card Games contributed $438.3m towards June’s revenue total, a 34.06% improvement YoY (2021: $325.3m) with a win percentage of 15.73%. Baccarat was the top performing game with $143.2m, followed by Blackjack with $89.6m.

Nevada’s sports betting handle for June came in at $23.8m, an 11.7% decrease on the previous month (May: $26.99m) but an 18.3% decline YoY (2021: $29.2m).

Although sports wagering saw a drop in overall handle YoY, mobile sports betting in the Silver State achieved a handle of $15.1m, a 2.41% improvement on the previous year (2021: $14.7m).

Per sport wagered on, Baseball led the way with a handle of $15.3m, followed by hockey with $5.2m, and basketball with $3.1m, while football suffered a loss of $1.5m.
