Zona de Azar USA – New York State Senator Praises Mobile Sports Betting Progress

USA.- November 26, 2021 www.zonadeazar.com New York State Senator, Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr. has praised the progress made by the Empire State in taking steps to regulate online gaming and mobile sports betting.

This follows the announcement that nine gaming operators have been recommended for sports betting licenses in the region. These operators include Bally’s Corporation, BetMGM, WynnBet, FanDuel, DraftKings, RSI, Resorts World, PointsBet, Kambi, and Caesars Entertainment, who are already active in New York.

The Senator was complimentary in his statement: “I give credit to the New York State Gaming Commission for their work in advancing the state’s mobile sports betting process ahead of schedule, including the completion and posting of the rules.”

Addabbo, Jr. has already set his sights on the next step before launch, he said: “As we complete each important step towards offering our residents a premier mobile sports betting product in New York, we must focus on getting the servers negotiated, so that they’re up and running at the approved casinos in order to take the first New York mobile sports bets for some time in January.

“I look forward to getting this anticipated operation off the ground and bringing New York successfully into the mobile sports betting arena,” he concluded.

After the announcement that Bally’s Corporation had received a license recommendation, Soo Kim, Chairman of the operator’s Board of Directors noted: “Bally’s is pleased to have been awarded an online sports betting license from the State of New York — the most populous state to enable OSB — and would like to thank the New York State Gaming Commission for including Bally’s in this exciting endeavor.

“This license advances our overall market footprint and marks the latest milestone on our journey towards becoming the leading omni-channel gaming provider in the US Above all, we look forward to providing New York’s devoted fan base with engaging, best-in-class, sports betting experiences.”
