Zona Azar Brazil – BSOP Brasilia has a R$ 4 Million Guaranteed Prize Pool
Brazil.- February 16, 2018 www.zonadeazar.com The second stage of the Brazilian Series of Poker’s 2018 Season marks the return of the largest poker circuit in Latin America to the country’s capital. BSOP Brasilia, which takes place between April 5 and 10 at the Centro de Eventos e Convenções Brasil 21, brought together a large number of participants in its two previous editions, held in 2014 and 2015. And for this stage, the BSOP Team announced a guaranteed prize pool of R$ 4,000,000 in nine tournaments of the festival.
The stage begins with the traditional “Start-up” tournament and a guaranteed prize pool of R$ 300,000 for a R$ 600 buy-in. The next competition with guaranteed prizes is the Heads-up tournament. Always attracting some of the biggest names in Brazilian poker, the tournament will have the guaranteed prize pool of R$ 30,000. The High Rollers tournament, which starts throughout the Day 2 of the main event, will also have a special award, with guaranteed prize pool of R$ 600,000.
The Main Event, obviously, will not be left out of this. There will be R$ 2.5 million guaranteed in the prize pool, in addition to one of the two Platinum Pass that will be reserved for this stage being distributed to the BSOP Brasilia champion. They each have an approximate value of US$ 30,000 (R$ 100,000) and guarantee entry to the PokerStars Players Championship, which has a US$ 25,000 buy-in and takes place in January 2019 in the Bahamas, in addition to accommodation and money for expenses at Atlantis Resort.
