This partnership aims to introduce special lifestyle and entertainment programming, enriching the experience in hotels, attractions, retail outlets, and dining establishments.
According to details unveiled by the STB, the initiative encompasses the launch of more than 50 exclusive experiences, forged in cooperation with over 19 precinct stakeholders.
This strategic move aligns with the marketing initiatives of the three entities, including STB’s global brand campaign “Made in Singapore,” Marina Bay Sands’ Bay Precinct Strategy, and UOB’s commitment to offering exclusive access to premier Travel, Shop, Dine, and Entertainment events throughout ASEAN. Together, they seek to create a compelling tourism narrative for visitors.
The newly formed partnership introduces a marketing campaign named “Masterpieces. Made in Singapore,” spotlighting unique experiences in Singapore and targeting key tourist markets such as Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Commencing the collaboration in February is a waterfront drone light show in celebration of Lunar New Year. Titled “The Legend of the Dragon Gate,” the show will narrate the mythical tale of the Dragon King, brought to life through 1,500 drones against the iconic Singapore skyline.
UOB cardholders will enjoy access to curated promotions, including exclusive packages at hotels with prime views of the drone show, featuring establishments like Marina Bay Sands, The Fullerton Bay Hotel, and Mandarin Oriental.
Kenneth Lim, Assistant Chief Executive of Marketing Group at Singapore Tourism Board, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating that “this alliance aims to excite and inspire our visitors to explore more of what Singapore has to offer.”
