Amusnet Expects to Surpass 2,000 Installed Machines Across Latin America
Colombia.- 13 October 2026 | www.zonadeazar.com Amusnet is accelerating its land-based expansion across Latin America and expects to surpass 2,000 installed gaming machines in the region within the next year.
Daniel Arias Cifuentes, Amusnet Director for Colombia, Central America and the Caribbean, said the company already has contracts and advanced negotiations in several markets, with the next phase focused on installations and regulatory approvals.
Colombia Leads Expansion
Colombia has become one of Amusnet’s main land-based growth markets.
The company already has around 1,000 machines committed under contract and works with operators of different sizes, including Codere and Winner.
Regional Growth
Amusnet’s land-based footprint is also expanding across:
- Colombia.
- Peru.
- Guatemala.
- Aruba.
- Saint Martin.
- Paraguay.
Mexico also remains part of the regional strategy, although progress has been slower due to regulatory complexity.
More Than 2,000 Machines Within a Year
Arias Cifuentes believes existing contracts and negotiations will allow Amusnet to comfortably exceed 2,000 installed machines over the next 12 months.
The immediate focus will be on completing deployments and securing the required regulatory approvals.
New VIP Cabinets
At G2E Las Vegas 2026, Amusnet presented new 43-inch and 75-inch VIP cabinets.
The company also introduced a lower-cost Light terminal aimed at markets with lower average betting levels, including Colombia and several Central American jurisdictions.
AmuseBox 3.6
Another major development is AmuseBox 3.6.
The software allows platform and game updates to be deployed remotely over the internet, reducing the need for technicians to physically service machines.
Reduced Reliance on Hardware Replacement
The strategy is designed to extend machine lifecycles.
Amusnet believes that once reliable hardware is installed, most future innovation should come through new games, progressive features and software updates.
30 New Games
The company has also introduced around 30 new titles for its land-based machines.
These games will connect to Jackpot Cards Plus, a mystery progressive that can support two separate jackpot systems on the same machine.
Online Experience as an Advantage
Amusnet plans to use its established iGaming experience to strengthen its land-based business.
The supplier currently works with approximately 150 online operators across Latin America, providing valuable insight into player preferences, game performance and local market behaviour.
Omnichannel Strategy
A central objective is to make the same games available across both physical casinos and online platforms.
Amusnet wants players to recognise titles they already know online when they encounter them on a land-based machine, and vice versa.
Data Analytics
The company’s technology platform also enables it to collect information on machine performance.
Amusnet uses this data to:
- Adjust configurations.
- Modify game variables.
- Analyse performance.
- Optimise content.
- Accelerate commercial decisions.
The company sees this information as an important advantage over more traditional hardware distribution models.
Regulation as a Renewal Driver
In Colombia, Amusnet also sees opportunity in upcoming technical requirements.
Coljuegos requires machines to be certified by authorised testing laboratories by 31 December 2031.
The supplier expects this requirement to support a broader renewal of the installed machine base.
More Than a Supplier
Amusnet also wants to deepen its relationships with operators.
Its strategy includes customised games, operator-branded content, character integrations, marketing support and tools designed to improve acquisition and retention.
Next Steps or Impact
Land-based growth will remain one of Amusnet’s main priorities across Latin America during 2027.
With around 1,000 machines already contracted in Colombia and active projects across several other markets, the company expects to surpass 2,000 regional installations within a year.
Longer-lasting hardware, remotely updated software, data analytics and omnichannel content will form the core of a strategy designed to strengthen Amusnet across both physical casinos and iGaming.
