Bet365: Brazil, Spain, UK Drive Club World Cup Betting

67.9% of bets came from three key markets during the tournament

U.K.- July 23, 2025 www.zonadeazar.com  Despite initial uncertainty around the FIFA Club World Cup, bet365 reported positive results, with 67.9% of all bets coming from Brazil, Spain, and the UK.

Betting expert Steve Freeth highlighted key outcomes that benefited bookmakers, including the 1-1 draw between Real Madrid and Al-Hilal and Boca Juniors’ struggles against Auckland.

Flamengo and Palmeiras drive Brazil’s strong showing

The highest-bet match was the Round of 16 clash between Flamengo and Bayern Munich, while Palmeiras featured twice among the top ten most-bet matches, despite exiting in the quarter-finals.

Bet365 noted that five of the top ten most profitable matches involved Brazilian teams.

Promotions, substitutes, and results

Bet365’s “substitute bet transfer” promotion proved costly, notably with Jamal Musiala scoring a hat-trick as a “Super Boost.”

While the final fell 21.6% below Champions League final betting volumes, bet365 considers the results strong given the time zone differences and the tournament’s debut.

📌 Key for operators: Brazil strengthens its role as a strategic market in global sports betting events.
