Brazil Approves 1xBet and Caixa Loterias for Legal Betting
Official license granted for physical and digital operations
Brasil.- July 31, 2025 www.zonadeazar.com Brazil’s Ministry of Finance, through the Secretariat of Prizes and Betting (SPA), has officially authorized DEFY LTDA (1xBet) and Caixa Loterias S.A. (Betcaixa, Megabet and Xbet Caixa) to operate in the country’s fixed-odds betting market.
The authorization was announced on July 29, 2025, and published in the Official Gazette through ordinances SPA/MF No. 1.665 and No. 1.666, both signed by SPA secretary Régis Dudena.
Authorization terms

Betcaixa: authorized until December 31, 2029

1xBet: authorized until July 29, 2030
Both companies are allowed to operate via in-person and online channels, offering sports and other betting modalities.
In accordance with Brazilian law
These licenses comply with Laws 13.756/2018 and 14.790/2023 and are effective as of their publication.
