Czech Republic.- 21 October 2026 | www.zonadeazar.com HIPTHER, the international organiser of iGaming and technology events, has announced the launch of HIPTHER AI Summit 2027, a dedicated conference focusing on artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.

The event will take place on 25 March 2027 in Prague, Czech Republic, extending the organisation’s annual Prague programme to three days.

One of its main highlights will be an international startup competition, with the winning project receiving a €40,000 investment.

Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity

The summit will be held at OREA Hotel Andels Praha, immediately following the HIPTHER Prague Summit on 23–24 March.

The programme will feature two conference stages and a separate educational space.

Sessions will explore key issues for technology companies and iGaming operators, including:

  • Generative artificial intelligence and large language models (LLMs).
  • AI agents and enterprise applications.
  • Cybersecurity and threat intelligence.
  • AI-powered fraud detection.
  • Zero Trust security architecture.
  • Governance and compliance under the EU Artificial Intelligence Act.

Additionally, HIPTHER Academy will deliver four practitioner-led courses, with separate registration and limited availability.

€40,000 Startup Competition

For the first time, HIPTHER will organise the AI & Cybersecurity Startup Challenge, an initiative designed to identify emerging companies with international growth potential.

The competition will follow this schedule:

  • 16 November 2026: applications open.
  • 31 January 2027: application deadline.
  • February 2027: selection of 20 shortlisted startups.
  • March 2027: online semi-finals.
  • 25 March 2027: eight finalists present their projects in Prague.

The winning startup will receive a €40,000 investment.

The competition will welcome early-stage artificial intelligence and cybersecurity companies from Europe and beyond.

Full eligibility requirements, investment terms and evaluation criteria will be published when applications open.

European AI Regulation Takes Centre Stage

The summit will take place as businesses prepare for further regulatory obligations concerning artificial intelligence.

Particular attention will be given to the EU AI Act, including transparency requirements, risk management and the governance of high-risk AI systems.

According to the regulatory timetable highlighted by the organiser, certain obligations covering standalone high-risk AI systems are scheduled to apply from December 2027.

These developments are particularly relevant to the iGaming industry, where artificial intelligence is increasingly used in fraud prevention, cybersecurity and business operations.

Executive Comments and Next Steps

Zoltan Tündik, Co-founder and Head of Business at HIPTHER, highlighted the transition of artificial intelligence from theoretical possibilities towards practical deployment, accompanied by new governance and security challenges.

He explained that the summit aims to connect technology developers, cybersecurity specialists and innovators with investors and industry leaders.

Through this initiative, HIPTHER expands its international events programme while strengthening the connection between iGaming, technological innovation and regulatory compliance.

The Prague conference will provide an opportunity to examine how artificial intelligence is transforming business models and security requirements across regulated industries.
