SBC Confirms Lisbon as Summit Host Through 2030
Portugal.- 8 October 2026 | www.zonadeazar.com SBC has confirmed that Lisbon will remain the host city of its flagship SBC Summit through 2030, following a new long-term agreement with Portuguese authorities and organisations.
The deal extends the existing commitment beyond 2027 and secures further editions in 2028, 2029 and 2030.
Agreement Through 2030
The new agreement was signed with:
- Turismo de Portugal.
- Municipality of Lisbon.
- Lisboa FCE.
The partnership is intended to provide the conditions needed for SBC Summit to continue expanding in the Portuguese capital over the coming years.
2027 Already Confirmed
SBC had already confirmed the 2027 edition.
The next Summit will take place from 21 to 23 September 2027, once again at Feira Internacional de Lisboa, FIL.
The latest agreement now adds support and dates for the 2028, 2029 and 2030 editions.
Lisbon Becomes Long-Term Home
SBC moved its flagship event to Lisbon following previous editions in Barcelona.
The organiser believes the city’s infrastructure and institutional support provide the foundations needed to continue expanding the Summit’s international reach.
FIL and MEO Arena
The agreement will allow SBC to continue using the combined infrastructure of Feira Internacional de Lisboa and MEO Arena.
The venues support an integrated programme covering:

More Than 40,000 Attendees in 2026
The 2026 edition set a new scale record for SBC Summit in Lisbon.
The event attracted more than 40,000 registered attendees from international gaming markets.
More Than 800 Exhibitors
The Summit also featured more than 800 exhibitors and sponsors.
Around 600 speakers participated across the conference programme, strengthening the event’s position as one of the largest global gatherings for betting and gaming.

SBC founder and CEO Rasmus Sojmark highlighted the support the organisation has received from Lisbon since moving the Summit to the city.
He said the Portuguese capital continues to demonstrate year after year that it is the right location for the event’s continued growth.

António Ramalho, Chairman of the Board of FIL, said the organisation remains committed to working alongside SBC and creating the conditions required for the Summit to continue expanding.
