Super Group Revenue Rises 10% as iGaming Drives Third-Quarter Growth

United States.- 5 November 2026 | www.zonadeazar.com Super Group, the international gambling company behind Betway and Spin, has reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of $611 million, representing year-on-year growth of 10%.

The performance was primarily driven by online casino operations, which helped offset a weaker quarter for sports betting.

The company also recorded a 48% increase in profit and revised its financial outlook for the remainder of the year.

Third-Quarter Financial Results

Between July and September 2026, Super Group reported:

  • Total revenue: $611 million, up 10%.
  • Net profit: $142 million, an increase of 48%.
  • Adjusted EBITDA: $165 million, up 8%.
  • Monthly active customers: 6 million, an increase of 9%.
  • Adjusted EBITDA margin: approximately 27%.

The figures demonstrate improved profitability and commercial growth despite challenging sports betting results in certain markets.

Online Casino Offsets Sports Betting Volatility

iGaming was a major contributor to Super Group’s quarterly growth.

Online casino revenue increased across both principal geographic segments:

  • Africa: $205 million, up 21.3%.
  • International markets: $310 million, an increase of 6.9%.

Together, the two divisions generated approximately $515 million in iGaming revenue during the quarter.

The strength of online casino operations helped offset the weaker performance of sports betting.

Customer-Friendly Sports Results Affect Revenue

Sporting outcomes favourable to customers affected the group’s revenue and profitability.

Alinda van Wyk, Chief Financial Officer of Super Group, explained that these results had an estimated impact of:

  • $40 million on revenue.
  • $25 million on adjusted EBITDA.

In Africa, sportsbook revenue increased by 3.6% to $57 million.

However, international sportsbook revenue declined by 8.3% to $33 million.

The company highlighted that such fluctuations are part of the volatility associated with sports betting.

Africa Delivers 17% Revenue Growth

Africa once again delivered strong financial performance.

During the third quarter, regional revenue increased by 17% to $262 million.

Growth was mainly driven by online casino products, which recorded revenue growth exceeding 21%.

Super Group highlighted the profitability of its African operations and the region’s importance to its international strategy.

Africa accounted for approximately 43% of the group’s reported operating segment revenue during the quarter.

International Revenue Increases 4.9%

The international segment, covering operations across Europe, the Americas and other regions, also recorded positive results.

Revenue increased by 4.9% to $344 million.

Growth in online casino operations offset declining sportsbook revenue.

Super Group highlighted progress across technology, product development and pricing strategies.

These initiatives support its efforts to strengthen the competitiveness of Betway and Spin.

Neal Menashe Highlights Business Resilience

Neal Menashe, CEO of Super Group, said the results demonstrated the ability of online casino operations to support profitability.

“Casino provides a durable earnings base that allows us to absorb short-term sports volatility,” he stated.

Menashe emphasised that, despite customer-friendly sporting outcomes, the company increased both revenue and adjusted EBITDA.

He also highlighted strong profitability in Africa and technological progress across international markets.

Nine-Month Revenue Reaches $1.89 Billion

During the first nine months of 2026, Super Group generated revenue of $1.89 billion, representing year-on-year growth of 15.7%.

The geographic breakdown included:

  • International markets: $1.05 billion, up 7%.
  • Africa: $839 million, an increase of 28.7%.

The figures reinforce the importance of geographic diversification and continued online casino growth.

The company ended September with $602 million in cash and cash equivalents.

Super Group Revises Its 2026 Guidance

Following its third-quarter performance, Super Group updated its full-year financial outlook.

The revised forecasts include:

  • Annual revenue: between $2.525 billion and $2.575 billion.
  • Adjusted EBITDA: between $700 million and $720 million.

The revision primarily reflects the impact of customer-friendly sporting outcomes.

Despite the adjustment, the company continues to anticipate growth and maintains a strong financial position.

Industry Impact and Next Steps

Super Group’s third-quarter results demonstrate the importance of iGaming as a source of stability for international gambling operators.

Online casino growth helped the company offset sports betting fluctuations while maintaining profitability.

With quarterly revenue of $611 million, net profit of $142 million and iGaming growth exceeding 21% in Africa, Super Group is reinforcing the resilience of its business model and maintaining its international expansion strategy.

The company will continue focusing on technology development, operational profitability and growth across its principal brands, Betway and Spin.
