Zona de Azar USA – Fontainebleau Las Vegas Announces New President and Marketing Executive

USA.- June 13th 2023 www.zonadeazar.com Mark Tricano has been named as the president of the Fontainebleau Las Vegas resort, bringing his nearly two decades of experience in the gaming, hospitality, and finance sectors to the role.

Tricano takes over from Brett Mufson and Cliff Atkinson, who previously held the position of president and CEO and president and COO, respectively.

Additionally, Michelle Reda, a seasoned veteran with 25 years of experience in Las Vegas casino marketing, has been hired as the chief casino marketing officer for Fontainebleau.

Tricano’s impressive career includes working with renowned companies such as Caesars Entertainment, Station Casinos, JACK Entertainment, and most recently, Hong Kong-based Galaxy Entertainment Group in Macau. During his tenure, Tricano oversaw operations and labor for a substantial workforce, managed thousands of hotel rooms, and achieved significant annual gross gaming revenue.

In Las Vegas, Tricano served as vice president and general manager of Red Rock Resort. He also held executive leadership and finance positions at Caesars Entertainment, including vice president and assistant general manager, as well as director of finance in various jurisdictions.

Expressing his gratitude for the opportunity, Tricano said, “Fontainebleau Development’s leadership has conceived this resort with a unique independent vision. I am grateful for the opportunity to guide the Fontainebleau Las Vegas team through these final months of construction, our grand opening, and beyond.”

Michelle Reda, known for her impressive track record in the gaming industry, joins Fontainebleau with extensive experience, including 13 years at Wynn Resorts, where she served in multiple roles, including vice president of casino marketing. She played a vital role in the opening of Encore Las Vegas in 2008 and oversaw the development of the company’s domestic independent-agent program. Reda has also held positions at Caesars Entertainment and Station Casinos, further enhancing her industry expertise.

In addition, Kimberly Virtuoso, who joined Fontainebleau Las Vegas in 2022, has been promoted to the position of senior vice president. Virtuoso will oversee the human resources department and has recently launched an online recruitment portal for hiring the thousands of employees needed for the Fontainebleau Las Vegas resort. Previously, she served as the executive director of corporate human resources for MGM Resorts International.

The appointment of these experienced professionals reflects Fontainebleau’s commitment to assembling a highly skilled team as they approach the final stages of construction, prepare for the grand opening, and embark on a successful future.
