Zona de Azar Argentina – Buenos Aires: Bill Would Ban Child Support Debtors from Entering Gambling Halls
Argentina.- August 20, 2024 www.zonadeazar.com Provincial Deputy of Unión por la Patria, Germán Di Cesare, has introduced a bill that proposes banning individuals listed in the Provincial Registry of Child Support Debtors (RDAM) from entering casinos, gambling halls, and bingos in Buenos Aires.
“This bill aims to protect the rights of children and adolescents. The goal is clear: those who do not fulfill their obligations towards their children will not be allowed to participate in gambling activities until they regularize their situation,” explained legislator Di Cesare.
Failure to pay child support is a violation of a fundamental right of children and adolescents and means that the person responsible for them must cover this shortfall. Di Cesare’s initiative seeks to sanction and, above all, encourage the fulfillment of these essential obligations.
“We need to provide the Judiciary and the State with the tools to demand that these debtors meet their responsibilities,” emphasized Germán Di Cesare.
