Jessica Saravia, executive director of the Gaming Control Authority (AJ), reported that to date more than a thousand illegal machines that operated in clandestine halls in the country have been seized.

She informed that only in the department of Santa Cruz 44 interventions were made to illegal gaming rooms and six in La Paz. In addition, he mentioned that the Public Ministry carried out an intervention at an illegal game room in Trinidad, where 22 machines were kidnapped and one person was apprehended.

“We work and propose measures to generate effective sanctions. It is important that society knows that we are protecting their rights, but above all the social effect that these places, without control, can cause,” she said.
