Zona de Azar Brazil – SBC Rio: Exclusive Interview with Rafael Brunacci, Head of Business Development Inspired

Brazil.- 07th March 2025 www.zonadeazar.com SBC Summit Rio 2025 concluded successfully, establishing itself as one of the leading gaming and betting industry events in Latin America. Held from February 25 to 27 at Riocentro, the event brought together key industry figures, including operators, affiliates, regulators, and suppliers, providing a strategic environment for networking and learning about the newly regulated Brazilian market.

With significant growth compared to the previous edition, the event attracted 15,000 participants and featured a large exhibition area where global and regional brands showcased their latest innovations. Additionally, the educational program was enriched with four conference stages and two parallel summits: the “Affiliate Leaders Summit” and the “Payment Expert Summit.”

Among the highlights, the event welcomed renowned speakers, including Brazilian football legend Bebeto, government authorities responsible for industry regulation, and influential company executives such as Fernando Garita (CEO of Betsul), Arthur Silva (CEO of Alfa Entertainment), and Marcos Sabiá (CEO of Galera.bet).

In addition to the conferences and panels, attendees enjoyed various networking opportunities, including exclusive social events, a 3v3 football championship, and the closing party INFINITY RIO, featuring performances by Afrojack and DubDogz.

As part of this event, an exclusive interview was conducted with Rafael Brunacci, Head of Business Development LATAM Inspired Gaming Group, which follows below.

What are your expectations for SBC Summit Rio?

“Another SBC, each year more attractive, much bigger, more participants with this regulated market.

I think we’ve managed to see that the market is really taking a direction where the government has control, companies will be able to work with more realistic expectations about the game.

And I think this year is going to be the turning point for the next few years of the market, which we’re going to see grow a lot in Brazil.

I think that’s it. This event shows that gambling is here to stay, it’s regulated and it’s going to be a form of entertainment that Brazil doesn’t know about.

And I think there are great expectations for the coming years.

Thank you.”
