Brazil.- June 21, 2023 www.zonadeazar.com Pixbet has been approved for sports betting by Loteri, the Permanent Bidding Committee of the Lottery for the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The brand operates on WeAreGame’s iGaming platform and is now in the first stage of accreditation.

The official municipality website announcement comes with a Loteri Accreditation Notice for the brand. Pixbet already operates within the Latin American market, including Brazil, where it supports over 15 sports clubs including Santos, Juventude, Goiás, Cruzeiro, Vasco da Gama, Avaí and Clube de Regatas do Flamengo in Série A.

Pixbet Founder Ernildo Santos has previously stated the brand was developed by Brazilians, for Brazilians. Pixbet previously also partnered with Grupo Globo for the 2022 World Cup.

Online sports betting in Brazil is currently legal, but still going through a process of becoming officially regulated, which will continue over the next few years. A recent 20-year concession agreement for IGT and Scientific Games to provide lottery in Mineira, Brazil has also recently been set.

Pixbet Sportsbook offers over 10 sports for potential bets, with soccer boasting the largest number of Pixbet’s events. The site not only offers sports betting, but also live dealer games and casino slots.

WeAreGame powers Pixbet via an iGaming platform solution called WeArePlatform. The platform sustains multiple Pixbet products, including PixBet Fantasy 5 (a fantasy soccer game), PixBet.tv and a Free To Play site, PixJogos.
