Zona de Azar USA – Light & Wonder to Install Progressive Table Games on Norwegian Cruise Line Fleet

USA.- December 18, 2024 www.zonadeazar.com  Light & Wonder announced on Tuesday that it has been selected by Norwegian Cruise Line to install wide area progressive table games across its 18-ship fleet.

The installation includes 200 GM Atlas systems featuring jackpot progressives and variants of blackjack and poker. Niaz Nejad, Managing Director Americas for Light & Wonder, expressed excitement about the collaboration, emphasizing how the technology will bring thrilling gaming experiences to guests at sea.

The wide area progressive technology will allow Norwegian Cruise Line to link gaming titles across multiple ships via a centralized network, enhancing the gaming experience and increasing participation in progressive jackpots. Ian Donald, Vice President of Gaming Operations at Norwegian Cruise Line, highlighted the added excitement and larger payout opportunities for guests.

Current games available include Blackjack, Let It Ride, Three Card Poker, and Ultimate Texas Hold ‘Em, all contributing to a shared progressive jackpot. The first installation of this progressive system took place on the Norwegian Breakaway in August 2024, with additional installations planned across the fleet.
