Greentube to Acquire Kingsbet CZ in Czech Expansion

Austria.- May 06, 2026 www.zonadeazar.com Greentube, the digital division of NOVOMATIC, announced the full acquisition of online operator Kingsbet CZ, aiming to enter the Czech Republic’s B2C online gaming market. The move marks another step in its expansion across regulated European markets.

The Czech market is considered a fast-growing regulated environment in Europe. According to official data from the Ministry of Finance, it reached a total value of CZK 68 billion (approximately EUR 2.7 billion) in 2025, with online gambling accounting for 59.2% of total GGR.
Kingsbet provides Greentube with local operational expertise and market knowledge, key elements to support its presence in the country. The agreement remains subject to regulatory approvals.

The move aligns with a broader industry trend of international operators expanding into regulated European jurisdictions, where the online segment continues to increase its share of total market revenue.

The acquisition will allow Greentube to establish a direct operational foothold in the Czech Republic, leveraging an already established local operator, potentially strengthening its competitive positioning.

Pending approval, the integration of Kingsbet could support further product development and reinforce Greentube’s presence in Central Europe in the medium term.
