Infingame Highlights AI as Key to Player Retention
Ukraine.- 3 July 2026 www.zonadeazar.com Infingame has identified artificial intelligence (AI) and personalised recommendation systems as increasingly strategic tools for player retention in iGaming. According to the company, the industry is moving away from reactive loyalty models towards real-time adaptive experiences.
News Details
Infingame said AI-driven personalisation has become a major competitive advantage for online casino and betting operators. The shift is being driven by rising user acquisition costs, changing player behaviour and shorter retention cycles, particularly in mobile-first markets.
The company argues that historical reports and static segmentation models are no longer enough to sustain engagement. Instead, operators are investing in platforms capable of adapting user experiences in real time through personalised game recommendations, dynamic lobbies and immediate responses to behavioural signals.
Infingame also highlighted its partnership with The Playa, a platform specialised in AI-based personalisation and recommendation systems for iGaming operators. The integration enables operators to replace static segmentation models with continuously adaptive user journeys.
In deployments across two European markets, lobby personalisation through recommendation systems delivered a 12% to 16% increase in average volume per user, a 9% to 12% rise in active days and a 13% to 32% increase in the variety of games explored by each player, without additional marketing investment.
Industry Context
AI adoption in iGaming is becoming central to improving retention, anticipating churn risk and identifying high-value players at earlier stages. In a more competitive environment with rising acquisition costs, operators are prioritising tools that can personalise the user experience while players remain active on the platform.
Statements
Viktoriia Grygorenko, CEO of The Playa, said:
“Predictive analytics tells you who is about to leave the platform or who may become a VIP player. But a prediction, by itself, changes nothing. The player only notices the difference when the experience adapts to them. That is what recommendation systems do.”
Dmytro Kryvorchuk, COO of Infingame, said:
“Operators are becoming much more precise in how they engage players. AI-driven personalisation allows platforms to understand what each player wants to see, which mechanics will have the greatest impact and when to act while it still makes a difference.”
Next Steps or Impact
Infingame expects the future of iGaming retention to become less reactive and more focused on real-time personalised experiences. The trend could accelerate new engagement strategies, early VIP player detection and dynamic CRM models based on individual behaviour.
