Zona de Azar Argentina – EGR LATAM Summit: Exclusive Interview to Tomas García Botta

Argentina.- February 18, 2025 www.zonadeazar.com The conference celebrated its 16th edition at the Hilton Buenos Aires, gathering the main leaders of the Latin American gaming market. The event, which took place from February 11-12, continues to be the essential meeting point to interact with peers and gain key industry insights.

Over the past two years, Latin America has established itself as a crucial player in the global gaming arena. With new regulations in countries such as Chile, Colombia and Brazil, the region’s growth potential seems endless. This boom has attracted both established international operators and local innovators. Latin America is moving from being an emerging area to becoming an established player in the gaming industry.

During the two-day conference, sessions were offered that analyzed the region’s development and current regulatory standards. Among the topics highlighted were the prevention of underage gambling, the growth of sports sponsorships and new measures against money laundering. In addition, the event provided ample opportunities for networking among those already operating or planning to enter the Latin American market, as well as with compliance, legal and regulatory experts.

“I am Tomas Garcia Botta, partner at MF Studio, it is always a pleasure and a privilege to be able to participate in EGR Power Latam. It is an event that was originally held in Uruguay and has been held in Buenos Aires for a few years now. It is always an event that is smaller, which encourages more frank and open conversations and I always take with me good ideas and good projects for the rest of the year, after larger events that mark the calendar and open the year a little, it is always good to meet in this environment to exchange experiences.”
