FIFA Unveils Match Schedule for Women’s World Cup Brazil 2027

Brazil.- 30 August 2026 | www.zonadeazar.com FIFA has unveiled the match schedule for the FIFA Women’s World Cup Brazil 2027™, confirming the distribution of all 64 fixtures across eight Host Cities.

The tournament will begin on 24 June 2027 and conclude on 25 July, with Rio de Janeiro’s Maracanã Stadium hosting both the opening match and the Final.

Maracanã to Open and Close the Tournament

Hosts Brazil will begin their campaign at the Maracanã on Thursday 24 June.

Exactly one month later, the same stadium will stage the championship Final on Sunday 25 July.

The Maracanã will consequently become only the third stadium in history to host both a men’s FIFA World Cup Final and a FIFA Women’s World Cup Final.

Historic First for South America

Brazil 2027 will be the first FIFA Women’s World Cup staged in South America.

The tenth edition of the tournament will again feature 32 national teams and is expected to use Brazil’s football culture and sporting infrastructure to further expand the women’s game.

Selecting the Maracanã for the tournament’s two most prominent fixtures reinforces the historic nature of the event.

Brazil to Play Across Three Major Cities

Brazil will play its three group-stage fixtures in three different cities.
