AGA Launches Responsible Gaming Education Month 2026

The American Gaming Association (AGA) has launched Responsible Gaming Education Month (RGEM) 2026, an industry-wide initiative taking place throughout September to promote responsible play, strengthen consumer education and encourage informed gaming decisions.

USA.- September 04, 2026 www.zonadeazar.com Responsible Gaming Education Month runs from September 1 to September 30 and brings together gaming operators, suppliers and other industry stakeholders around a shared commitment to responsible gaming. The initiative seeks to promote gaming literacy and consumer education, strengthen employee training and support collaboration across the sector.

Throughout the month, the AGA will highlight programs, practices and tools designed to make responsible gaming a central component of the legal and regulated gaming industry.

The association will also share new research, industry perspectives and educational resources aimed at advancing the discussion around player protection and supporting responsible gaming initiatives across the sector.

Responsible Gaming as an Industry Priority

Responsible gaming remains a key pillar of the U.S. regulated gaming market. According to the AGA, its members invest hundreds of millions of dollars each year in responsible gaming initiatives, including consumer tools, employee training and research focused on preventing and addressing problem gambling.

Recent AGA research has also shown strong consumer awareness of responsible gaming resources. Data published in 2025 found that 84% of gamblers surveyed were aware of at least one responsible gaming tool, while more than 75% of those familiar with such resources considered them effective.

AGA Encourages Industry Participation

As part of RGEM 2026, the AGA is encouraging companies and organizations across the gaming ecosystem to participate by incorporating the RGEM 2026 Industry Toolkit into their own communications and responsible gaming campaigns.

The initiative provides the industry with an opportunity to amplify responsible gaming messaging, share best practices and reinforce the importance of helping consumers understand how to engage with gaming responsibly.

The campaign also supports the broader commitment established through the AGA’s Responsible Gaming Code of Conduct, which places consumer protection, responsible gaming practices and responsible advertising among the core standards for its members.

Throughout September, Responsible Gaming Education Month will serve as a platform for the legal gaming industry to reinforce its commitment to player protection, education and sustainable gaming practices.
