Five of the nine companies included in the index recorded share-price increases during July.

Market movements generated six positive contributions and three negative contributions within the indicator compiled by the Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers.

Konami delivered the largest positive contribution. Shares in the Japanese company increased by 16.8% during the month, adding 108.32 points to the index.

Aristocrat Leisure recorded the second-largest contribution after its share price rose by 4.6%. The Australian gaming technology and equipment supplier added 49.60 points.

Inspired Entertainment was the largest negative contributor. Its shares declined by 16.6%, reducing the index by 0.91 points.

The AGEM Index tracks the stock-market performance of nine international companies involved in gaming equipment, systems and technology.

July’s increase enabled the indicator to substantially outperform the principal United States equity indices during the same period.

The Nasdaq Composite declined by 3.2%, while the S&P 500 fell by 0.1%. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was the only one of the three benchmarks to advance, increasing by 0.3%.

The difference reflects the considerable impact of the gains recorded by Konami and Aristocrat, although the sector index remains slightly below its July 2025 level.
