BETBY Adds ePadel Tennis and eSumo to Its Esports Offering

Malta.- 6 August 2026 | www.zonadeazar.com BETBY has expanded its proprietary esports portfolio with the launch of ePadel Tennis and eSumo, two simulation products based on sports that remain underrepresented within the betting market.

The additions extend the Betby Games offering into racket and combat sports, providing operators with new always-on content and a high frequency of events.

News Details

ePadel Tennis was developed specifically for padel rather than adapting the mechanics of an existing tennis simulation.

The title launches with one tournament and a single-set match format, producing more than 2,000 events per month. It also includes over 15 betting markets, zero-second bet acceptance and instant settlement.

The pace of each match is designed to reflect the real-world sport and provide operators with a dedicated vertical built around padel’s growing international audience.

eSumo, meanwhile, transforms traditional Japanese sumo wrestling into a digital format consisting of ten rounds. The product will deliver approximately 18,000 events per month.

Customers can wager on both the overall match winner and the outcome of each individual round.

Industry Context

BETBY described both titles as industry-first simulation products for iGaming.

Padel has more than 35 million active players across 150 countries and over 77,000 courts worldwide, giving the sport considerable potential to attract new betting audiences.

eSumo introduces a distinct cultural and sporting proposition within the combat category, combining straightforward rules with short-duration events.

The launches continue the expansion of Betby Games, which added products including eHockey, eMMA, eTeqball and eKabaddi throughout 2025 and 2026. Its proprietary portfolio now comprises more than 40 titles.

Statements

Kirill Nekrasov, Head of Innovation and Research and Development at BETBY, said:

“Padel is one of the fastest-growing sports worldwide, and ePadel Tennis gives operators the opportunity to offer dedicated, high-frequency content built specifically around its growing audience.”

Discussing eSumo, he added:

“It brings an entirely different dynamic, transforming one of Japan’s most iconic sports into a fast, clear and engaging betting experience.”

Next Steps or Impact

BETBY will seek to increase the variety of its proprietary offering through products based on sports with limited representation in betting simulations.

ePadel Tennis will allow operators to capitalise on the global growth of padel, while eSumo provides an additional option within combat sports.

The high number of monthly events will also support an always-on betting offering, expand market choice and reduce reliance on traditional sporting calendars.
