Buenos Aires Launches Second “Premiamos tu Esfuerzo” Contest
Argentina.- 6 August 2026 | www.zonadeazar.com The Buenos Aires Provincial Institute of Lotteries and Casinos and BGaming have launched the second edition of “Premiamos tu Esfuerzo”, a competition exclusively intended for operating official lottery agencies across the province.
The initiative seeks to encourage sales and recognise the daily commitment of the retail network through a competition based on each outlet’s individual growth.

Each agency’s performance will be compared against its own average revenue during a previous two-month period.
This second edition will assess sales recorded throughout August and September 2026.
To ensure balanced competition, participating outlets have been divided into five geographical areas:
North Greater Buenos Aires, West Greater Buenos Aires, South Greater Buenos Aires, Interior and Interior II.
Two winning agencies will be selected in each region according to the greatest growth achieved during the competition period.
Industry Context
The final score will be calculated through a weighted system covering sales from two product categories.
Quiniela Plus will account for 60% of the final result, while traditional Quiniela games will represent the remaining 40%.
The format avoids direct comparisons between agencies of different sizes and rewards each outlet’s proportional growth against its previous performance.
First-place winners in each area will receive a 50-inch Smart TV, while second-place agencies will be awarded a 43-inch Smart TV.
Next Steps or Impact
Agencies that won during the first edition will not be permitted to participate again, providing additional opportunities across the commercial network.
Eligible outlets must record sales on at least 90% of the working days covered by both the competition and the comparative base period.
Winning agencies must also have no outstanding balances with the Institute when the prizes are awarded.
The second edition of “Premiamos tu Esfuerzo” will run from 1 August to 30 September 2026, inclusive.
