Playnetic Expands Global Distribution Through Light & Wonder
Malta.- 19 August 2026 | www.zonadeazar.com Playnetic has expanded the international reach of its online casino portfolio through a new integration with OpenGaming, Light & Wonder’s content aggregation marketplace.
The agreement makes a selection of existing titles and new releases available to operators connected to Light & Wonder’s platform across regulated markets.
Initial Games Rollout
The first phase includes four Playnetic titles:
- Sun vs Moon: Hold n’ Win.
- Assassin of Rome.
- Bubble or Broom.
- Farmageddon.
The selection combines titles from Playnetic’s Hold n’ Win series with feature-led releases across different themes and game formats.
Multi-Aggregator Strategy
Joining OpenGaming forms part of Playnetic’s wider strategy of distributing content through multiple aggregation partners.
The supplier already has distribution agreements with:
- Relax Gaming through Powered By Relax.
- QTech Games.
- Hub88.
- Stake.
- White Hat Gaming.
The Light & Wonder partnership now adds another route for reaching operators and players across regulated jurisdictions.
OpenGaming Reach
OpenGaming operates as a major content aggregation hub within the gaming industry.
The platform connects operators with a broad library of games from both Light & Wonder and third-party studios.
For Playnetic, the integration provides additional scale without requiring the supplier to rely exclusively on direct technical connections with individual operators.
Statements
Kai Botha, Chief Commercial Officer at Playnetic, said Light & Wonder’s network provides significant scale and allows the supplier to place its games in front of new operators and players.
He stressed that Playnetic intends to combine that wider distribution with its focus on quality and player experience.
Gabi Star, Senior Director at Light & Wonder, highlighted the strength of Playnetic’s Hold n’ Win series alongside the broader variety of its catalogue.
She said those qualities made the studio a natural addition to the OpenGaming portfolio.
Regulated Market Expansion
Playnetic continues to expand internationally through licensing and distribution agreements.
The company holds regulatory licences in Sweden, Romania and Malta, alongside approvals in Greece and Ontario.
It also entered the Italian market in January 2026 through a partnership with Microgame.
Industry Context
Aggregation platforms are becoming increasingly important to B2B online casino distribution.
For independent studios, these networks provide access to operator scale that can be difficult to achieve through individual direct integrations alone.
They can also accelerate entry into regulated markets and provide established infrastructure for future game launches.
Next Steps or Impact
Playnetic’s OpenGaming integration will expand the number of operators able to access its portfolio and provide a route for additional releases over time.
For Light & Wonder, the agreement adds another independent studio to its marketplace and increases the breadth of content available to operator partners.
The partnership also reinforces a wider move towards multi-aggregator distribution strategies as suppliers seek to maximise international reach across several networks simultaneously.
