Super Group Posts Record Revenue Following World Cup Boost

The performance was supported by increased activity during the FIFA World Cup, continued online casino growth and the company’s expansion across Africa and other international markets.

Quarterly profit reached USD 123 million, compared with a USD 3 million loss during the corresponding period of 2025.
Adjusted EBITDA increased by 30% to USD 204 million, while the company achieved a record margin of 30%.
Average monthly active customers rose by 13% to 6.2 million. The group also reported all-time highs in deposits and wagering.
The World Cup produced a significant increase in sports betting activity during June. However, Super Group said the results also reflected the underlying strength of its diversified business model and casino operations.
Industry Context
Online casino revenue increased by 16% year-on-year to USD 527 million, remaining the group’s largest source of revenue.
Sports betting generated USD 150 million, representing growth of 29% from the second quarter of the previous year.
Africa remained one of the company’s principal growth drivers, with segment revenue increasing by 36% to USD 310 million.
International revenue, covering Europe and the Americas, rose by 7% to USD 368 million.
Super Group ended June with USD 548 million in cash and no debt. It returned USD 25 million to shareholders through dividends during the quarter, taking total capital returned over the previous 12 months to USD 218 million.

Next Steps or Impact
Super Group increased its full-year 2026 guidance and now expects revenue to exceed USD 2.6 billion, compared with its previous forecast of more than USD 2.55 billion.
Adjusted EBITDA guidance was also increased from more than USD 680 million to over USD 710 million.
The company will seek to sustain its post-World Cup momentum through further brand expansion, continued casino growth and a stronger presence across strategic international markets.
