Zona de Azar Malta – Stake Suspends UK Operations Over Advertising Dispute

Malta.- February 13, 2025 www.zonadeazar.com Stake’s statement on its decision to end its white label activities in the UK market:

“Stake has made a strategic decision in mutual agreement with TGP Europe to exit white-label agreements and focus on securing local licenses through our in-house platform and operations, building upon our growth in key regulated markets such as our recent expansions into Italy and Brazil.” – Stake spokesperson.

What’s Next for Stake?

Stake has been making some pretty big moves in recent months, particularly in the Latin America market. It launched in the Peru market last August and acquired Betfair Colombia a year before that. On Feb 11, it received full authorization to operate in the newly launched Brazil online gaming market.

Looking ahead, the operator plans to strengthen its foothold in Europe. Following its Idealbet acquisition, Stake entered the Italian market in late 2024 and facilitated its entry into Denmark with the purchase of Mocinoplay.
