South Africa.- July 24th 2023 www.zonadeazar.com FSB Technology has strengthened its position in the South African regulated betting and gaming market via a GLI certification.

FSB attains accreditation, allowing the company to provide its sports betting and igaming platform and solutions in South Africa, tapping into one of the continent’s biggest and well-established markets.

FSB will make its debut in South Africa later this year, building on a year which has seen the London-based firm expand its international footprint, entering the Ontario betting space in February via a partnership with operator Fitzdares.

Ian Freeman, Chief Revenue Officer, at FSB, said: “We have a very clear strategy of aligning our market leading sportsbook, platform and casino portfolio of products and services with markets that offer FSB and its partners the best chance to succeed.

“Securing GLI certification in this market is a continuation of this strategy and we are very much looking forward to launching with a fresh and innovative offering with our Tier 1 partner(s).”

As one of Africa’s largest betting markets, South Africa is home to several local and international firms, including major international operators such as Betway and Betfred.

Although international growth is on FSB’s agenda, however – such as the aforementioned launch in Canada earlier this year – North America may not be at the forefront of the company’s agenda any longer. .

Revealing the firm’s strategy for 2023 in December last year, FSB stated that it would move away from prioritising the US and instead focus on the UK and Ireland, Europe and Africa.
